Maybe the step up wasn't due to Palin, maybe it had something to do with President Bush socializing Housing (Fannie, Freddie). Republicans aren't so bad, they'll help ya get a house, and keep ya "safe from terror" :?

Congratulations! Keep 'socializing' and gettin' them Dem votes!

Sad, but true.

And I think this is just another sign that we are in for some really hard times. The national debt is so high that I can't see us ever getting out from under it (estimates put it at $600,000 per capita). That can mean only one thing - correction. Otherwise known as a depression.

There is only one thing that can prevent this IMHO and that is a drastic cutting of government programs - accross the board. And this includes most of the foreign aid that we dole out each year.

McCain may just be the man to do it. I pray to God that he is.

We can not afford another depression. On top of the obvious economic implications, I fear it would invite attack.

Well if anyone is looking to get $600,000 from me good luck but I think Palin and McCain's speech and the dems showing themselves for what they are attacking her has put McCain in the lead.

In her speech, I loved the way she used humor instead of spite and hate to get her message across......OB (a tampon?) represents the "Sitting on butt holding out hand" crowd and the DNC exploits that to the hilt...... I hope SaraCuda cleans house when she gets to DC; starting, perhaps, with DC it'self.

If a fellow is married, that makes 1.2 million. I guess everyone better start thinking about getting a second job to pay it off. :?
