OT for computer geeks
I heard on the news yesterday that Google has released a new browser called Google Chrome. I've downloaded a Beta version to give it a spin. they say it's better because It's designed for the way websites are made today. I have no opinion as of yet. time will tell.

It's based on an out-dated version of Safari, but has a lot of new window dressing. Be sure you read the fine print before installing as you, in effect, give Google permission to log every keystroke you make in the address bar. Some will call this "market research" and won't mind. I'm not sure I'm so cavalier about my privacy so I won't be installing it. Initial indications are that it may be a memory hog as well, but I'm not certain of the numbers.
It will be interesting to see if they can bundle up their office/email package with this and give the other vendors a run for their money though.

Well done is better than well said.

I don't know about bundled up, but one of the goals was to provide a browser that guarantee's the correct operation of the free "office" products. Between open office and google products the days of Micro$oft office are numbered.
