I took the muzzle loader on Wednesday to check it still makes fire ready for the geese on Monday and noticed Frank had cut some grass. I knew the fox would be on that at night but was not able to get untill last night. When I did get there Frank was still rowing up trying to beat the rain coming Sunday.
Alas no fox so I took a walk and on Tia's and my return with Frank still working the field gone 10 at night there she was.
I walked her up with the windless night being assisted by the tractors engine and took her at something like 60paces with a follow up shot at 40 paces. I used my new torch, it is so small and lite it was wonderfull to not have to carry a lamp and battery bag. This torch will go 200yds in a tight beam, takes some believing. It has two power settings.
The pic is poor quality because it was taken in the pitch black and I guess it was struggling to focus.

Frank pulled up on his tractor and was chuffed after watching the procedings and being a sheep farmer n' all
