OT - Weren't we just talking about scoped leverguns?
All I need is to find a Model 1897 or 39 that someone had d&t'd, to mount this on. The bases are in the box ready to go. The #1 was made in 1936 and the #2 came out in 1937 IIRC.

I know a whole lot about very little and nothing about a whole lot.

I don't wanna be a party pooper, but... with that rear mount there, it ain't gonna leave ya much eye relief.

You may not need any. I think you just lube up that cup and stick it on your eyeball like a contact.Griff wrote:I don't wanna be a party pooper, but... with that rear mount there, it ain't gonna leave ya much eye relief.

Griff,
If it is on a 39, does it matter?

The instruction manual actually gives spacing and a picture for mounting. Mounts can be moved.
