In rural Oklahoma there were two little girls killed a few months ago just walking down a dirt road to the swimming hole. Apparently the police have few leads and almost no evidence to go on so the Oklahoma State bureau of investigation recently asked owners of 40 caliber pistols in the area to voluntarily bring in their weapons to be tested then they would be returned.

The process is strictly voluntary and arrangements will be made for gun owners who can't make the trip to Okfuskee County, Brown said.

I've been saying that for 40 years.

As for me turning in any of my guns to be "tested" if such a thing were to happen in this area, bring a warrant or don't even bother knocking on my door.
