Only the Gooberment would have the Brass Cajones to say that an "inspector" who damaged airplanes while "inspecting" them was a "hero" for pointing out how an terrorist (or idiot) could damage planes while inspecting them... AND the TSA is thinking about fining the airline for allowing it to happen... Typical. The TSA is obviously taking cues from the BATFE.
...The TSA inspector could not have gotten onto the sterile airfield area unless he used his ID badge," said Laird, who runs an aviation consulting business based in Nevada.
"If he jumped the perimeter fence, that's an airport police lapse, not an airline breach," Laird said, adding, "It seems to me the TSA is making a brouhaha to cover the ineptitude of the particular inspector who has not been trained properly to deal with aircraft."

C2N14... because life is not energetic enough. מנא, מנא, תקל, ופרסין Daniel 5:25-28... Got 7.62?
Not Depressed enough yet? Go read National Geographic, July 1976 Gott und Gewehr mit uns!
Not only did this *insert derogatory term here* use an avionics probe that controls the autopilot, (and by its inoperation can directly cause the aircraft to crash, fortunately discovered before flight by crew) to climb up on the plane, in so doing he damaged these probes on 18(edit the correct number is 9) aircraft, this caused the cancellation of over 40 flights while they were being fixed. This numskull caused literally millions in damages.
"People who object to weapons aren't abolishing violence, they're begging for rule by brute force, when the biggest, strongest animals among men were always automatically 'right.' Guns ended that, and social democracy is a hollow farce without an armed populace to make it work."
Simple solution, He (the stupid TSA AGENT) is required to pay for all the damage and lost hours out of his wallet. The government does not take tax dollars to pay it.
A long time ago, and far far away...I worked the commuter airline biz for a time. If I can recall....it seems each of our small aircraft (16 passenger); after ALL expenses, netted about $8000 dollars per operational day.
Deleting 40 flights thru incompetence....is expensive; and the fast track to career change.

It would be if he was private sector. His head would be gone so fast he'll stick be looking up at his butt when it hit the ground! But, for a public-sector employee, i.e. - unaccountable - nothing is going to happen...
