But IMO he's deserted us. I find it very hard to believe he's on other forums, and somehow "can't" get on this one. I don't believe it.

Joe,
I hope you remember far enough back when he was asking others for help in logging back on. He was able to access the old forum, but not this new one. I've talked with him and he's tried other browsers, tech support, etc and has finally just given up.

You see him, on other forums, so PM him and ask him directly if he has intentionally deserted.

I'm not on any of the other forums he's on. This forum is not enough different than any of a bunch of others I've been on and am on to make any difference. I still find it difficult to believe he's unable to figure out the problem.

As for remembering him asking for help logging on, I missed those posts. Sorry.

Jdad's right Joe. He tried pretty hard, over a good long period to get back on to leverguns. I am about as computer illiterate as they come so I did not chime in. Hope he gets back here as well as Scott T. and Junior.

Now Joe, that just isn't right. As you know there are circumstances that make this forum harder to access than the other. Vall is one of those so affected.

As to ScottT, about half his reason for leaving was all the OT stuff and the other was wanting to do more family stuff and get on with making a living. Not all the guys can hang out here the way you and I do.

And then there's Junior. Well, he'd had a belly full of all the personal attacks. I couldn't delete them fast enough. He's on the cast boolit forum and doing well.

Of course you've forgotten some others, but all have valid reasons for departing or not visiting often or lurking more than they used to.

I think he can access the forum at work but who has time at work? I do not think he is telling a tale. In my experience Vall has ALWAYS been super helpful and ALWAYS takes time for me and he does not know me from Adam. Just one knowledgeable guy helping a much less knowledgeable guy. Now I have the pleasure of his company via the phone every couple of weeks. Thanks, 1886.
