Is there a website that rates/grades states on gun issues?

Post by mklwhite »

We were talking about what states allowed what at work this week. I've looked around a bit and have seen a couple sites that list CC states and the like, but not anything that rates/grades just how gun friendly a state is overall. Are there any state report cards out there? Thanks.

Dunno, but I want to know as well, hopefully before I relocate.

Brady bunch does a report card. Latest is from 2007 , obviously an "F" is the best grade and an "A" is the worst

Awesome!! Missouri has a score of 4/100: 2/no guns in workplace, 2/no guns on campus. I shall show others that site, thanks.

Howdy,
I was just over there browsing. It's hard to believe the way they put their own twist on every law or situation that doesn't meet their standards!
I was looking at Minnesota, it sounds like a renegade, crime ridden, shoot 'em up at every opportunity state, because we don't have all the brady rules in place. I think I'm gonna be sick now.......

I just checked out Oklahoma's score: 2/100 points.

We "earned" 2 points for "Colleges are not forced to allow firearms on campus".

Happily, this is incorrect. CCW holders can (all constitutional arguments aside) legally carry on campus provided the firearms remain locked in the vehicle.

That puts us at zero points. RATS!!! :D

1894 thanks for the hookup on the brady site. I would almost like to thank them for their effort so I know what states are the worst out there.
