It's ok; we can fix this. What you need to do is....

read all the threads on page one,
shoot a loading out of all six guns,
clean them,
shoot another loading,
clean them again with the tears of a crocodile,
wipe them down with eagle feathers dipped in whale oil,
now get the guns inside a box with my FFL's address on it,
take to UPS and they will take care of the rest.

I seem, with no prior intent, to have become a Ruger Single Action collector - I just bought my fifth one this year. At 5:35 on 8/23 I can pick it up.

Why do you have to wait to pick it up?

Most likely the stupid gun laws of Kalifornia.

(Criminals don't get their guns through legal commerce, people like us already have one or two if we need them urgently so we can wait, but the formerly-non-gun-owning woman with a deranged stalker has to 'wait' so she gets attacked or killed before getting her hands on a gun. Otherwise, she'd likely hurt somebody!)

The stupid gun laws of Kalifornia - why would a waiting period be necessary if you already have a gun???? Even in their thinking.

Well, I'll confess that I shot my Rugers last April when I met up with jd45 ........
and I haven't cleaned them yet. I cleaned my lever guns though.

Duh, you've already shown you won't kill anyone with the ones you already have...this new one, though, is unproven. It could cause you to snap in the excitement of touching it tenderly for the first time. A premature event, if you will........

That ain't confessin'; confessin' would be admitting... balance deleted on the grounds it might tend to sorta, kinda, maybe incriminate someone I know & love...
