POLITICS - Barrack Obama vs. John McCain

Post by papabear »

I know that some of you don't like to read long drawn out missives...
so here's the executive summary.........

Congress Military
John McCain 26 Years 22 Years

Barrack Obama 143 days 0

Just think how great a professional of any kind you could
be with only 143 days of experience!!!

People want change so badly? . . . . maybe we should
lower the experience requirement for doctors, lawyers,
airline pilots, etc. This would cause some change!

Obama's 143 Days of Senate Experience

Just how much Senate experience does Barack Obama
have in terms of actual work days? Not much.

From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United
States Senator, to the time he announced he was forming
a Presidential exploratory Committee, he logged 143 days
of experience in the Senate.

That's how many days the Senate was actually in session
and working.

The one single Senate committee that he headed never
even met -- once.

After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he
was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the
Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR,
JFK and Ronald Reagan.

Think about it.......143 days -- 20.4 weeks -- 4.7 months ...

Our children spend more time in pre-school getting ready
for kindergarten.

Just wondering, what did President Lincoln do before he became President?Just looked it up, House of Representatives, one term I think and lost bid for Senate.`I was told Mr. McCain was not top of his class at Annapolis , just where did he stand in the class with respect to academic performance?

Fifth from the bottom, but darn few people could be fifth from the bottom at the Academy.
Kind of like being fifth from last in the Olympics.

Think of him what you will.....savior of the Union or trampler of the Constitution, Abraham Lincoln was a man of strong moral convictions and no flip flopper. His life experiences of growing up on the frontier and earning his way to prominence the hard way(unlike Obama), would have killed most of us. He was willing to commit political suicide to do the right thing, rather than turning chamelion to match his surroundings. No comparison in my book between these two. I have nothing personal against Obama...I just know from the history books and from what I've witnessed personally, that Socialism is the most corrupt, oppressive and murderous form of government known to mankind. His Presidency would move us closer to that type of insanity.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

+1

This is not a theorectical exercise either. Plenty of people alive today who fled communism in our lifetimes. Only folks I know that admire communism are the nitwits who have never lived under its oppressive thumb...

In 1996, we had a perverted, lying, draft-dodging incumbent running against a decorated war hero who had served this country his whole life. The vote wasn't even close.

You cannot compare anyone to Obama and get any of his supporters to change their minds. It is all about "feelings", instead of logic. Folks who support politicians like Obama care nothing about experience or service to our country. It is all about "what will this guy do for me?" Obama promises health care that someone else will pay for. He promises to allow women to kill their babies, and someone else will pay the bill. He basically promises a free ride to all who are unwilling to make a living and pay their own way. He promises equal everything for everybody, and the rich will pay for it all. He makes me sick to my stomach with his socialist programs.

I had once hoped that there would be enough smart people voting to assure that Obama is not elected. I have given up on that, and now hope that there are at least enough racists to keep him from being elected. We have few smart people, but plenty of racists. By the way, Obama is also a racist. I will take what I can get. Now before any of you accuse me of being a racist, I have voted for a black man for President, and he was a lot blacker than Obama. I just will gladly accept racism if it keeps someone like Obama out of office.
