Well, I'm getting ready for the opening of Bow season in about 2 months. I put a camera out over a waterhole to see if anything is moving. It's been 100+ degrees here for a while and my cameras have a difficult time when it gets that hot.
But, I got a few pics of a nice doe that's been hanging around the pond I thought I'd share. She looks pretty healthy to me in one photo, and pretty lanky in the second photo. Also, I'm just guessing, but the length of the snout of the 2nd pic makes me think she's a pretty old doe.
Any thoughts.

cool pics. thanks for posting...
My trigger finger twitched while looking at these... She looks like she would go good with some potato's and gravy - my freeze is getting pretty low this time of year - soon time to stock up...

is that what they look like? I got excited this week just sending in my anterless permit. Dove season 4 weeks away, Archery season 2 months away. two weeks later is early muzzleloader. Another month and its regular gun season, then late archery and muzzleloader. Not even to mention the Texas levergun shoot I leave for tomorrow. All this excitement and now you post those great pics. I have got to get me one of those trail cams or two. I have a couple of places that I am just itching to figure out. Thanks for the post.
