Chuck Dixon's shop is a treasure. Whether you're into building black powder rifles, knives, or leather working Chuck has materials and books for it all. Not to mention the many, many rifles he has on display and for sale, including some very old leverguns. It's gravitational field pulls me in every time I get near it.

I might be mistaken since I've not looked at the books in several years, but I believe that in one of the Foxfire books, there is a diagram of a rifling bench used to rifle muzzle-loaders.

That kind of jig would make it easy to do "Pope" rifling where the rate of twist accellerates.
