My birthday present arrived about 2 hours late...

Post by Killer Kanuck »

But it didn't bother me a bit. Last couple of days have been loooong. Here's the reason why:

Image

IT'S A BOY!!!! :D :D His name is Mason Allan McCormack, and he's about 36 hours old in the pictures. We missed sharing the same birthday by less than 2 hours. Both he and mama are doing fine, and daddy's already scheming about finding one of the Ithaca single shot 22 levers and having it cut down so it'll be ready for him in about 6 years. :D
And here's one with him an his "old man".

Congratulations Kanuck. Have one for me. I'll be thinking of you and in fact I think I'll open a mag of sparkling wine right now for you and yours. I've been looking for a good reason to drink it.

Congrates, my father and I share the same birthday. My son's due date was 2 days before my birthday. He didn't cooperate , he came 3 weeks early. Good Luck!

He is a handsome baby. Many babies are not too attractive right out of the shoot but he came out looking good. You must be proud. Best Wishes. 1886.

congrats - all the best - let's hope you can find some time to sleep in the next few weeks. My oldest 2 (twins) are 4.5 and the newest girl is almost 9 months. You'll be busy - but it is the best kind of busy. Being a good father takes time and alot of effort and I am just getting started

Try to enjoy every minute despite the sometime aggravation(s). They are gone too soon and you only get one go at every moment.

One of the best birthday presents ever to get. Glad mom and baby and dad are doing fine.
Now were are his leverguns?? I have a 2 year old boy and a 1 year old girl in the house and can't wait to get them out shooting.
I also have 3 handicap kids at the moment with another maybe showing up when we can get all the legal stuff done.
Love and adore that little guy I lost my 13 year old daughter this year and to put it bluntly it just plain sucks even thou she had been in failing health for 3 years. Kids are our future and we need lots of them with cool heads and brains.
