Trapper at Gun Gallery
Over at Davidson's I see they offer a Marlin Trapper in 30-30 and 45/70. Straight grip laminate stocks with day glow sights. The answer to how long a Trapper barrel is supposed to be is, according to the new Marlin, is 16 1/4"
I haven't been on Davidson's website since the format change, me no likey
So I don't know if these rifles are old news or not. Oh yea there is only going to be a run of 500 in each calibre
and they are allocated which means who knows

Re: Trapper at Gun Gallery
This a new posting. They haven't gotten them in yet therefore the "allocated/ no photo". They're pricy but i think I'm going to have to get one. The big question is: 30-30 or 45-70. The 45-70 is one of my favorites but I don't have a .30-30

30.30 is the right size for that length barrel . Besides, I just like the 30.30 in lever actions . Just seems to fit for me. IMHO.............................Mutt
