I had a new .22 Mag Model 57, back in the mid-60's.

If you get it, mind that you stroke thet lever fast & firmly.

I've been looking for "the one". Saw one but didn't have the money in hand.

I saw a clean one the other day. Not mine nor do I have any interest in the rifle. If interested drop me a P.M. I will give you the shop info. 1886.

I've had one since I was a kid (12-shot magazine). Incredibly accurate and quick; I don't recall any failures to feed or similar. I did have to replace a broken firing pin once, though. I've been tempted to scope it, or at least put a peep sight on it since they're already drilled and tapped for both. Sadly, a few years back Lyman discontinued the sight from their catalog: Model 66MD.

I'd say get it.
