That's a cute 'lil poopie. I haven't had a dog since I left AZ. I miss him a lot. Labs are great dogs. Teach him well and you'll have him right where he wants you.

I have a Lab/Chow mix named Mia, and she is the sweetest dog I've ever had. You'd think she was dipped in honey and rolled in sugar. All Labs and Mixes I've seen have loved water too.
I have never been much of a bird hunter. But maybe I will train her up right and break out the 1897 and go after some ducks in a year when she is grown.
And yes the kids are real happy to have her we have been without a dog for 3 years now so they are happy to have one again.

I got a lab mix from the pound that didn't like water.
I expect she was tortured with water as she wouldn't go near a hose or sprinkler.
Took her out to a lake once and couldn't get her out, best day she ever had!

Great choice for what I have always found to be a great dog. I hope it brings as many laughs and as much security as mine did. My daughter picked a yellow lab (it listened better than her) out of a litter we used at work. We had it for a long time before my wife had me give it to my sister’s son before my last deployment to Iraq.
