... for a shooting bench that will sit in place on the range my buddy and I are settiing up on his place.
Simple ideas preferred. We ain't real skilfull :lol:

You can buy a small table at wally-world for something like $45 or you can make one out of plywood and 2x4's to you own spec's.

I made one using an old Black & Decker Workmate as the base. It folds up and is man portable. I would post a pic but it's too wet to get out of the house.

Yep, if you're going to leave it there, keep it simple and buy a nice, sturdy picnic table.

If one of you already has a pickup, just set a kitchen or folding chair in the bed and shoot over the top of the cab using a padded rest.

It'll even hold a beer cooler, for later. :wink:

Well, if he's going to buy a picnic table, he might as well get a BBQ and a cooler to hold his beverage of choice. Nothing like shooting on a full stomach and a wet whistle.
