I picked up the Ithaca 49 lever action 22 magnum last friday. I already had the repeating model, but this one is a single shot just like a Martini. Have any of you guys used one, I have never seen one before.

Yeah, I had one in the early 70's for a year or two - then traded it for a Grade II Browning BL22 repeater.
I traded it mostly because the BL was so pretty, but also because the Ithaca was hard to peep or scope, and (being younger) I didn't like the open sights.
In those days, I didn't have the aftermarket options we all do today.
