New Levergunner

Post by RKrodle »

Today I had the honor of helping 86er's wife (86her) to learn to shoot a rifle. We set her up with Joe's mld 94 win in 45 colt shooting some 255 gr cast loads. She is preparing for a Bison hunt in a few weeks and is well on her way to becoming a better shoot then either one of us. She had never shot a rifle before today. She was shooting at 25 yards offhand.

I believe she is getting the idea.

She shot a total of 50 rounds and only missed the target 6 times. We started with one round at a time and moved up to 10 rounds loaded and firing quick follow up shots. After the first 20 rounds she never missed the target again. I told Joe from now on he better be on his best behavior. :D

Looks like she is a quick study.

Joe I recommend that you step lightly and speak politely.

Ricky, now you've gone and done it! Now more wives are going to be taking the leverguns for themselves. My wife stole my old 336A and had it cut down for herself, now Joe better hide that 94 or he will lose it.
