So did anyone see the NRA Video on the gun confiscation during Katrina yesterday? It was on Glen Beck`s show. It was the first time on TV. Glen Beck is a lifetime NRA member. He said it was also on his website, glenbeck.com. Your thoughts if you see it.
Anyway i was quite shocked to see obvious law abiding citizens who owned firearms under our 2nd amendment so treated. These New Orleans police officers were obnoxious, and abusive acting under "orders". One elderly woman claimed she was punched, many claimed weapons were POINTED at them by the police. Some stated their guns were damaged diliberately, and were denied a receipt also. All this going on while the looters ran amuck.
I have the utmost respect and admiration for our police and LEO`s who face numerous dangers under trying circumstances every day. Many we the public never see and they never get the thanks they deserve. But i must say these New Orleans police officers on this video make Hitler`s Gestapo look like altar boys.

Yes sir, it's been discussed here a couple of times. A sad and unnecessary piece of modern American history.
