Your prayers and the Lord's answers keep working! The doctor's visit Monday said no need to wear the sling anymore. Still cannot use my arms very much until the neurosurgeon OK's it, but the old body is healing up well.

Too many injuries like that will take years for your Daughter's heart to recover from. Be careful of how many heart attacks you give her.

Thank you for the prayers. I have not had pain issues. The doc was asking me what my pain level was and I told her about a 4 or 5 but just the left knee. She looked puzzled and I said, "45 years ago I was breaking a colt to saddle and got pitched off into some rocks. I landed on my left knee." She said, "Couldn't a doctor help you?" And I laughed and told her that where I was ... and who I was when I was 35 ... we didn't go to doctors. We treated ourselves and got back to work.

The strange thing is, the knee never bothered me till I got old and fat.

Now it hurts all the time.

But I have not had pain issues from the accident or the surgery in a couple weeks now. For which I thank the Lord every day.

Just excellent progress, Jim --especially on the pain. You'll be running a sixgun again real soon, even if it's just your little Bearcat. 8)
