Years ago I loaded it in the 30-30 and 32-20 but I don't remember the load for either one.I would like to use it again for my 32-20.

To dupllicate the 32-20 in the 30-30 case use the plinker over 8 grains of Unique powder. If you use IMR 4198 you can push the plinker really fast, but it will come apart at that speed, it will kill coyotes really dead though.

+1

8/231 works very well also. Velocity is in the 1,400 f.p.s. range.

Howdy Pard!

Here's some loads just for you! I use them in the winter when I call Yotes' for the hides:

Any case, 34 grs. RE7 for about 2700, CCI LR 250 mag primer. They will reach out beyond 100 yrds. & still stay in the animal. (Only one hole to sew). You need the mag. primer for very cold weather ignition. Start with 31 grs.& work up from there.

Same thing only 37 grs. 748 powder for about 2650 fps. Start at 34 grs. (about 2300 fps.) & work up.

Low powered load: Same stuff except 10 grs. Unique for about 1550 fps. I use this one for small game & Yotes' when they are coming in close. Works on all small game without tearing them up. 8.5 grs is a good load too.

I use these when i get lazy in the winter & run out of 88 grs. Lyman cast bullets (#311419). They work just fine, even though the molds haven't been made in yrs.

By the way, Bobcat pelts are going for about $900.00 if'n ya tube skin em'. Yote' pelts are worth about $100.00 minimum for a prime winter hide; tubed, washed & combed out last time I checked.

Good luck & hope you make some jingle for your pocket this winter with your new Yote load 8) 8) 8)

Leverbob, those loads hit the spot, just what I was looking for. Should be great for groundhogs too.
