Thank you kindly! I haven't posted in a while, but I get on here regularly and read up. Haven't shot my leverguns in can't remember when, back near deer season. I did go to the range earlier this week, just to go with a shooting buddy. Shot my 270Win a few times is all. But since winter broke, ive have flat out laid the boot leather down, most always with either my longbow or recurve. Turkey season came in 4/18 and goes out 5/10. Ive been Turkey hunting with these trad bows, I think 7 times. Hunting on the ground, a leafy suit, tree seat n backpack. I did get a good shot finally Tuesday but missed. I was on my hands n knees, behind a pine tree, had 4 turkeys close, two jakes. I barely raised up, shot at a Jake at what I thought was about 20yds? Arrow flew straight but hit ground near his feet. After it was over, I found it was a good 30yds, Lol, glad I didn't wound him. Almost got a shot at two gobblers the first week of season, but didn't pan out. Was up at 4am yesterday, hunted half day, come home n cut grass. Today I feel more like 76 instead of 67, but Praise Lord, he let's me still keep going!
I scan few other forums, and I still say this is the best, most gracious bunch on net, along with the Leatherwall, both similar! Good friendly gracious people, good men!
