I reckon that them's European crows, gamekeeper. The gray and black plumage is a giveaway. Must be your side of the pond. Whatever, I like that bunny's attitude. Prob'ly fed up with bein' harrassed by crows.

Mike D, yup they look like Hooded Crows, I did not realise you didn't have them in the US.

By the way, we would call that Bunny Wabbit a Hare.

That was weird! Either that rabbit was major P.O.'d or it was a feral ally cat in a bunny suit.

Come to think of it, we need to distill that bunnies attitude down and inject it into some of the conservative voters in this country.

I suspect in both cases the mother was defending it's young.

Tycer, Hares and Jack Rabbits are "leporids" of the Genus "Lepus".

I suppose that's why a few old country guys like me call 'em "Puss".
We also refer to Foxes as "Charlie".

I remember watching a Jack Rabbit from a hot air balloon near Phoenix AZ. Boy could he motor!

Around here we have zillions of Black Tailed Jackrabbits, a serious nuisance in our orchards. The buggers are good at avoiding the .22 rifle, too. I like to lie in wait with my Browning single shot .30-06 loaded with 110 gr HPs and bust 'em at 200 yds.

In the mountains we have Snowshoe Hares, a delicious and evasive game animal. On the other side of the hill there are many White Tailed Jackrabbits, a larger and quicker cousin of the Black Tails. In the open sage a Winchester .25-20 does a number on them, as does the old '06.
