So, I was minding my own business
And I stopped by a dealer to pick up a box of .38 Special shells when the lady told me that they were having a sale on certain reloading items, some of them for 99 cents.

99 cents for a pound of powder or a box of primers almost feels like stealing.

You need to try the 4227 in your .480 Ruger.

Sounds like a blessing came your way! Congratulations!
Re: So, I was minding my own business
The only time I found a deal any better was in the mid 90's. An LGS I had dealt with for some time was going out of business. The owner and smith brought out a box of "stuff" and gave it to me. It contained numerous cans of powder, boxes of primers various types or brass and a bunch of bullets.
RIP, Johnny.

I don't buy lottery tickets but I might be tempted after that deal!

Wow! Even the regular price on the Longshot was a steal!

Did they put a limit on how much stealing you could do ? If not I would have bought them out on .99 items.Scott Tschirhart wrote: ↑Tue Feb 10, 2026 9:05 pm 99 cents for a pound of powder or a box of primers almost feels like stealing.
