After finding out that most of the other 'brands' I've tried over the years are NOT made in the US, for awhile I kind of gave up on the concept of limiting every purchase to US-made items, and just trying to do it 'most of the time'.
These 'Monstrum' branded (yep - Chinese) are pretty solid quality, at least...

The mount seems repeatable, and the Ruger 10/22 base and Marlin 1894 base I've ordered have been precisely made and fit well. The Marlin one has six holes, so I'm guessing (I didn't bother to check) it may fit more than just the 336 and 1895 - maybe Mossbergs or other similar firearms...?.
I guess for the moment, if I'm going to chip in to the Chinese aircraft carrier fund, at least I got some solid parts for my firearms.
