Winter sunsets are the best. We had a good one here tonight as well but I was driving and couldn't get a pic.

Nice color, gentlemen. Very serene, Jim.
Not a sunset, but a view north to the Gila Wilderness from Red Rock Road, southern New Mexico.
In the other pic, that white smear in the background is Mount Graham, over the border in Arizona.
We found some scaled quail, but my shotgun refused to harm them. Must be Democrat.

Thanks Bill. I have hunted Mount Graham at various times .... many years ago. There's a good bear population there. I miss the desert country.

Excellent, sunsets here are blocked by the mountain to the west, but mornings are pretty good.

Great pictures All ! Last Thursday the wind here shifted from the south and it was 59* and sunny all day, I felt like I was 69 again. Friday a cold front from the north west came in and dropped the temps. right now it's around 30* and the wind is 30mph. another day to stay by the Fire.

If I wanted to see the sunrise when we lived in Arizona, I used to ride my horse to the top of the nearest peak and watch it come up over the Galiuro Mountains about 35 miles to the east.

Though not recent, this is by far my favorite sunset picture.
