Joe, I have one. It is the 20" carbine Trails End that I bought in 2001. It is a good shooter. I used it for SASS for a little while but there are better rifles for that.
I shot Hornady XTP 250 grain and H110 Ruger loads in for deer, and it works really well for that. Mine has a very generous chamber and brass swells pretty good
when shooting heavy loads. Also work the lever like you mean it to keep from short stroking it and getting a cartridge under the carrier. Ask me how I know!
Overall it is a keeper.

I have one. It's a neat little Trapper 1894-1994 commemorative. it's been pretty good digesting 250gr cowboy loads up to 300gr BuffaloBore Hardcast.
I've taken several deer, an antelope and one cow elk with it.
I won't part with it.

Congratulations if you pick it up.

Had one years ago, chamber was HUGE, brass looked a coke bottle after fired. But it was a pretty accurate lil thing.

I've got one with a 24" barrel and is extremely accurate, fun to shoot, and holds 13 rounds.
This one also has an oversize chamber. The brass ejects fine but looks weird. I've reloaded the brass after resizing and it did fine.

I've killed deer with this rifle but I prefer to hunt with a trapper size rifle.

I had one for a few years. It was an 80’s era Trapper. The action was chunky and not particularly smooth. I never got around to testing accuracy or any of that but it seemed fine. I ended up selling it since I just sat. Someone else should be able to enjoy it.

Pedantic point of order, but Winchester dropped the "18" and just called them model 94 some time in the 19-teens. A 1919 gun I have is marked "model 94".
