The internet will tell you it can. Winchester would probably not recommend it. I have shot some Heavy H110 and 250 XTP's in mine for hunting and it does fine.

He writes about the strengths of the various '92's, '73's and the Marlin and Winchester 1894's.

Now I am not recommending it but I have about 3000 rounds of spicey 45 colt through mine. My loads are between "ruger only" and 454 casull....zero issues. In fact the rifle is considerably more accurate with these loads than standard pressure. I am using 454 casull brass that has been trimmed back to 45 colt length and annealed. Quickload has me at about 45,000psi
