Pretty obvious idea in hindsight. Might do better if they had an even heavier and wider projectile.
Imagine the same concept with a 50 Beowulf; maybe twenty slivers of a 400-500 grain bullet per shot using a full/auto M-4 Lower…

Interesting. I'd had a similar idea but using fletchettes in a semi-auto shotgun.
The one in the video uses a
self disintegrating bullet instead. I wouldn't have thought that would work.
