Heck, you knew they'd start working ways to deny citizens the right no matter how the SCOTUS ruled. I'm surprised they haven't limited this to flintlocks...

Sound like they might be ready to change things a little?

Wow ... I noticed anyone convicted of prostitution is prohibited. That seems like an odd disqualifier.

People talk about the Left Coast, but Or and Wa are firearm friendly....can't say the same about most of our elected clowns, but they will have to change the State Constitution to screw with us in Wa......

Maybe it's their way of thumbing their nose at the prostitutes and johns. Isn't D.C. ruled by federal law? And isn't it true there is no federal law against prostitution?Rimfire McNutjob wrote:Wow ... I noticed anyone convicted of prostitution is prohibited. That seems like an odd disqualifier.

Re: POLITICS - Washington, DC's compliance w/Heller SC Decision
I don't know why anyone would be surprised. After all, it takes HONORABLE people to live by the law and these aren't honorable people. Still, there's precedent for ignoring SCOTUS, just look at President Andrew Jackson. I'm paraphrasing a bit but he said, "they've ruled, not let them enforce it." The executive branch is responsible for enforcement. I'll bet the President doesn't rock that boat.
Sincerely,

They are likely to be sued over that. Blatant attempt to deny the right to self defense to those whom THEY don't approve of.
