Forum Site Quirks - back up . . . but . . .

.
Now I have to re-sign-in every time in between posts. Had to do that for awhile, but not recently, then whatever got 'fixed' somehow messed up the 'stay logged in' function. Not a big deal but maybe I'm doing something wrong...

Knock wood i only have to sign in about every 3 times I open the forum.
However, painfully slow to open topics if at all. Sometimes I just close the forum and give up.
There is still a gremlin in here somewhere.

I’m only able to get in about once a week.
This time I had to sign in to get into here.

The big question is
What /why the forum has become such a herky-jerky site after so many years of smooth sailing. Are they trying to figure it out?

Our friend EarlM from Oregon is still having a time of it with the site, with slow loading and then "Service unavailable" again after trying to post. How is working for others? It's running fine for me this morning -- knock on wood.

Yesterday morning it was lightning fast. Then later it wouldn't even open. This morning it's back to fast again. It's like a car with a bad carburetor, and you never know when it's going to run bad or leave you stranded.
