Shots (injections)
This year my doctor told me to take a number of shots.
So I went down to Walgreens and took the following:
Flu
Pneumonia
Shingles
(I passed on the Covid)
This morning I was going to go deer hunting but I feel like I wend a couple of rounds with Mike Tyson! Seems like I hurt all over.
Anybody else have a reaction like this?

I had flu and covid a week ago Friday, and Sunday was an achey blur. Fine on Monday.

Re: Shots (injections)
The only shot I have had in the last five years was the two part pneumonia shots at the advise of My Dr. The end of April this year we spent a week on the beach in South Carolina ,I walked two miles every morning and felt great. May 7th after coming home I came down with covid that I thought was going to kill Me. flat on My back for days, even My teeth hurt. It took six weeks to have any energy to do simple things .all summer I struggled and have had all the symptoms of "long Covid". I'm not complaining it's just life today. I would only wish it on an enemy. stay healthy Guys.

I haven't had a shot in years... except the for the "you're going to be awake but not feel anything while we shove this stent thru your wrist, up your arm and into your heart" shot.

I had the Shingles vaccine about 2 years ago. The first shot hurt. The second one was horrible. After the Covid vaccine nearly destroyed my ability to walk, and even stand, I will not tade more than 1 vaccine at a time, and never anything by GSK or Moderna again for any reason.

Re: Shots (injections)
The shingle vac I took a few years back was two part , the second shot was no problem but the first one was beyond rough . I got it about noon and by bedtime my shoulder was at least three different shades , none of which human skin is supposed to be and looked like someone had stuffed a golf ball under it. It throbbed for three days solid and off and on for several more. I felt better after having a new heart valve installed than I did after I got that one shot . Condolences !

I'm saving shingles No. 2 and the RSV for when I won't have to lift anything heavier than a beer for several days. Yeah, pansy.

.
I’m less and less inclined to get vaccines these days, after reading how much of the ‘data’ on them was fake.
I use sambucol for influenza, and when my chickenpox recurred I started valacyclovir within four hours of the tingle (rash started 30 minutes before my first dose. Infection provides better immunity than vaccine in EVERY case, so no Shingrix for me.
Read ‘Turtles all the way down’ and ‘The moth and the iron lung’.
It likely will temper your enthusiasm for vaccines.
