Been a couple months since I posted a range report.

After some scope mount issues yesterday...the aft mount got loose on me...

I tighten the scope back down and gott'er re-zeroed for 50 yards.

10 shots
44-40
25.5gr Reloder 7
43-214A, 216gr
6x Malcom scope
Winchester 73', Rifle 24"

Nice target, Bryan. I need to get my Lee Production Pot working again so I can cast some of John Kort’s 43-215Cs and get my Uberti back to the range. The .44 WCF is just so very pleasant to shoot.

Accurate enough to go head shot some squirrels, so no problem for deer way further!

Hi,
i am a new forum member from europe.I bought my new Uberti 1873 in 44-40 a few weeks ago and i am amazed how accurate this caliber is!My loads at the moment are with plated bullets from Campro,200grs and N340.I ordered the 43-215C accurate mold and i want to shoot my cast bullets with swiss 2 or 3.Here some targets at 50m,10shots.

Howdy and welcome. Nice shooting there too. It'll be interesting to see how you POI and groups change with the switch between smokeless to black powder.
