It has always been legal to open carry here in NV.
I open carry when riding my bike or jogging and it is mostly for protection from stray dogs.
I conceal carry otherwise.

The ABC news people (Nightline) went to a VCDL function supporting the open carry law here in VA. Good, even handed, responsible coverage. Amazing to me as a local paper's educated editorial staff doesn't understand the 2nd Amendment or the Heller ruling at all.

Open carry is legal and spreading in WA, as well.......I admit I'm not quite there yet.....I'm perfectly ok with the concealed carry......I'm not sure I could prevent someone taking it from me and in parts of town that would be like carrying around a case of Colt Malt Liquor

Hey Blaine, be careful carrying open in Washington. Cities have the capability of passing ordnances outlawing it. I'm not aware of those that do, but wouldn't want to find out the hard way.
