Is having a poll about the recent ruling on the gun ban and wanted everone here
to go give it a vote. It is on the main page at the bottom right.Thanks.

They just put it up 10 minutes ago. We need to get the word out to fix them numbers.

CNN is highly biased against guns anyway.

Unfortunately, I think the "average" American is becoming someone who does go to the CNN web page, who believes everything they hear in the Liberal media, who votes for Obama, who lives on welfare and expects the State to take care of them, who sues for millions over a spilled cup of coffee, who believes guns are dangerous and the morning-after pill isn't, who believe God has no place in our world or country, who believe the ACLU is right to have sued the U.S. Naval Academy for saying prayer over their meal (reported in today's paper), ... and on and on.

Sadly, the people of this forum, and those who share their values, are no longer the majority.

I agree with alnitak, I do believe the average American does prefer CNN over Fox News.
We here on Leverguns is far above average but we are also a minority.
The nomination of John McCain has verified this.
The creation of the ObamaNation will verify this further.

I looked for the poll this a.m. Maybe I do not see so well or they took it down. Did they not like the way the poll was going? 1886.

Just checked - it's not there any more. They tend to pull these polls rather quickly when they don't get the results they want...

What kills me is the dishonesty. If one is a liberal - a true, classic liberal, they would hail this decision as a blow against tyranny and be dancing in the streets. After all, the liberal belief is based in maximizing personal (individual) liberty (thus the name "liberal"). Anything supporting or increasing individual freedom is good; anything detracting from it is bad. This is why I call myself a "classic liberal".

By opposing the individual right to own firearms, and decrying this decision, they expose themselves for what they are - statists (leftists). Sad thing is, ask them and most of them are stupid enough - so historically and politically ignorant - that they will call themselves "liberals" or "progressives"!

Geez...

I was flipping past CNN (yes, you have to keep an eye on the enemy) and by golly, they did mention the poll and that sixty some odd percent (don't remember the exact number but it was in the high sixties) favored the SCOTUS verdict. They didn't dwell on it but it was stated. I was surprised.
