Assault Rifle used in Racially-based Hate-crime Murders

other than the fact that it wasn't a 'racially motivated' shooting, and it was an ordinary 9mm handgun, and the person bought it at a retail store after passing a 'background check'...

but it will STILL be used by the 'news' media to justify:

1. bans on 'assault rifles' (although the 'bans' pretty much WOULD ban everything else too)
2. 'hate crimes' legislation (giving murderers decreased sentencing if they murder white male heterosexuals)
3. 'universal background checks' (even though they don't accomplish ANYTHING positive to fight crime)
