The detachable muzzle brake I'd asked for was so nicely done that I couldn't see the thread-line/joint and at first thought they'd just ported the barrel...!

I already called them but didn’t get the response I was looking for. They will only make a barrel in 1:16 twist. The 358 Win is usually a 1:12 or 1:14 twist. I already have a couple of .357Max bbls I got from MGM and the first one was a 1:20 which was terrible. After much complaining to them they are now using a 1:16 twist in the .357Max. I’m pretty sure they’re using the same barrel blanks for the .358 Win if you order one. They have nice barrels, but they also sell what they have on hand. They’d be actually considered “semi-custom”. The second .357Max bbl I got from them in 1:16 twist shoots circles around the 1:20 they first sent me. I don’t want to go through that again.....too expensive to get “almost good enough”.
