Remington 513T for sale in WY - Sold

Post by jnyork »

Here is a nice old Remington 513T made in 1968. This is not a CMP/DCM rifle nor a club rifle, it is a commercial model purchased by me from the second owner many years ago. I have not shot this gun in probably 30 years and have no idea how accurate it will be with your ammo.

The metal on this rifle shows some wear, there are scratches and worn spots and the blue is turning dull with age. The moving parts of the action show only a little wear and appear to work perfectly. The original Remington magazine is present along with the original Redfield sights. The rear sight is in excellent condition with very positive clicks, there is one insert only with the front sight. Both original sling swivels are still with the gun. The bore has very sharp rifling and appears a bit dark with age. The buttplate checkering is sharp as new and the blue is only very slightly worn. The stock appears to have been professionally refinished sometime in the distant past, it appears almost new with no nicks, dings, scratches or other defects that I can discern. You will not be disappointed with the stock at all. This rifle will ship to your C&R license or FFL, your FFL must accept shipment from a private citizen and you are responsible for obeying all laws.

$400.00 with $40.00 shipping.

Haven't been to Laramie in years. If you want the rifle I could meet you in Rawlins.

We used to have a rifle that looked very much like that one. Does it say scoremaster or target master on it somewhere?

anyways, that rifle was extremely accurate and a college friend of mine fell in love with it so my dad sold it to him for $10 (but never cashed the check). With CBs it was absolutely quiet - maybe because of the long sturdy barrel?

Hope you enjoy it!

I think my old one had target master, but this one does not. But that has been over 40 year.
