Post by Bill in Oregon »

I wear their stuff. Now I may need to build their stuff. Blaine, note that our young lady is drinking a Rainier! 8)

You ever watched the stock and tank and wine drinking scene in Yellowstone?

I could be wealthy if I had invested dollars in Rainier, instead of drinking it....Those Rainier Tall Boys are still my favorites. 🍺🍺🍺🍺

Better advertising than Olympia beer. Their advertising claims it is water.

Red Green would have made a hot tob that way, but it would have gone hilariously wrong. Harold could have put something in wrong.

Is it me or has Filson 'changed' since they sold? Seems like more yuppie stuff lately.
Don't get me wrong I love my tin cloth cruiser and my tin pants, I tried a pair of their boots years ago , I sent them back as the boots exhaled every step- stitching wasn't tight. They sent a second pair- same thing. The Filson wool is second to none!

I remember Redd Green putting together a couple minivans ( with duct tape of course) and iirc it had a hot tub too!

Gunny, I can't afford Filson anymore, so I can't say. I have their heavy mackinaw, a vintage dark green forester's jacket and my good old cruiser's vest from 50 years ago -- high school job.

After I retired from the Army in '92, I got on with a land surveyor. I bought some Filson Tin coveralls, coat, and cap. Very disappointed. After a half day of slogging thru the brush, chopping line, in the rain, it would be soaked through. The cap band rotted out after a few months. A very expensive lesson.
