Why DWBattleSights might be better

Post by CowboyTutt »

I have a dual aperture front sight from him on my Sam Yang 45 caliber airgun rifle combined with a target rear aperture sight from Williams. Seems to be working out well so far. Wayne is much smarter than people realize when it comes to sights. He's a genius. This video help explain all of that.

very interesting. I gather that he doesn't shoot with both eyes open. At least in my experience I always sighted with both eyes open. But now that my eyesight has matured a little, it's a little harder. Don't know how the window thing would work. I hunted with a rear peep on my handgun and that worked great with a very fine bead. the best sight picture i get now is the reciever sight with front blade on my chicom fake 180 12 Ga. !

I am intriqued by the front sight. Seems well thought out. Im looking forward to your action report.

Because I have to think about which eye to use for sighting, I just learned to close one eye. That would work for me.

My wife shoots right handed but is left eye dominant. She closes on eye. I've been trying to help her gain binocular vision, while i seem to be losing mine !

For handguns I'm the same, right handed but left eyed.

When I shoot left handed, I use my left eye with the right one closed. Right handed is with left eye closed.
