Killed a white Turkey years ago, with 2 small black feathers under his beard..
Saw a black fox, twice at my place. A black lion at my place (3 times). One deer was yellow like gold, a huge deer, too cool to kill.

I've not seen a true albino in person , for a while around here we had lots of piebald though. Never got a shot at one though.

Pie balls?
:o
Government office attracts the power-mad, yet it's people who just want to be left alone to live life on their own terms who are considered dangerous.

History teaches that it's a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back.

saw several white deer back east, but those had brown eyes, brown lips and hooves.... so they were not albinos

the nicest was a large buck standing next to the road in the edge of a corn field. huge rack in velvet with cinnamon color to it, and he was strikingly white color, but not an albino. it was 10 days before season opened ,..... he looked at me like dont worry , you want see me again.

and i didnt , nor would i have shot him if i had.

In England there are a lot of pubs called the "White Hart" after the Albino deer.

I recall a deer with white face, and white antlers, the rest being normal colored. This one as well, came under the too cool to kill category. I always hope these cool deer will make good seed bucks, till some other hunter comes along with different plans.

Through 54 years of hunting them I have seen several white but non-albino deer, and many, many piebalds. One corner of our county is noted for a high proportion of piebald. deer. Exactly once I have seen a true albino, killed by a friend's son.

I've only seen one in my life and it was at night while driving. It was standing along a road and stuck out like a sore thumb.

It's a superstition that shooting an albino deer will bring bad luck. Anyone else familiar with this?

I recall reading stories back in the 60's that some people had superstitions against shooting an albino deer, Haven't heard that one in a long time though.

There are some piebald deer around "here", but pretty rare, I never saw one.

Never seen an albino deer but I see a freak albino deer hunter quite frequently. Like every time I look in the mirror.
