I didn’t realize how big the complete weapon system was until I saw this picture when reading about Martha McSally...who appears to be doing well in her Senate race.

Saw an A10 do a flyover once in the Army. I have still not ever seen anything in the air turn around quicker. Those aircraft have the agility of a hummingbird and hit like a tank.

The AF used to do practice strafing runs on the cell tower out by the gun club. Was always cool to see them come in at tree top level!
A10 is probably the very best ground attack ever produced. Gotta be the toughest thing as well.
