Thought it was one of the Browning repros, but it appears to be an origional gun. Checkered Forearm and buttstock. In about 98-99% condition. in 30-40 Krag. I made some mention about it being refinished, but he said "nope", factory condition!!
I was afraid to take it off the shelf and look at it

A rifle in that condition would be worth $5,000 or more.....checkered?....I've never seen a SRC of any model with checkering from the factory....
