Update from Jen 10/6/20:

Hello Friends,

My continued thanks to you all for your prayers, caring and support.

I was moved from the trauma unit on Thursday to the rehabilitation unit to focus on strengthening and moving my body. They have me focusing on my arms, hands, legs and feet. They removed the staples from my neck surgery today. The surgical incision is healing well and looks good.

Within the last few days my left side of my body is showing more improvement than my right, but I continue to work hard during my physical and occupational therapy sessions each day to strengthen both sides.

A big factor in my continued improvement is the compassionate and highly skilled care at North Memorial Care Center and all the prayers and well wishes from you all.

I will post another update soon, Blessings Jen

Thanks so much for updating us. I'm sure we all feel a bit better knowing you're improving (...and it's all about how WE feel, ya know... ).

The more better you get though, the less worried we will be. Hopefully the combination of that great medical care, a loving family, and a bunch of us hilljack levergunners frettin' about ya, will help you continue to return towards normal.
