Books by the legendary Jim Taylor

Post by CowboyTutt »

I didn't know Jim T. wrote books until today, but he has written quite a few as I have just learned on subjects from firearms to religion. I already have one coming my way, more to follow. -Tutt

Jim is one of those guys who has accomplished SO MUCH in life, yet is so HUMBLE we never hear about it until someone rats him out.... :D

I was aware of some of his writings, but I'm still glad you outed him....

I knew about a couple of those, but not all. Many of the ones who do worthwhile endeavors in life are not the type to shout about their accomplishments. Telling others with modesty is different from shouting it from the rooftops. For example, how many knew that George A. Custer's brother Tom was awarded the Congressional Medal Of Honor twice?

Doc, that completely describes the situation. Jim T. is a first class person first and foremost as a Christian, Pastor, Christian writer, and extremely dedicated evangelist who traveled to Africa to help things out there with his lovely departed wife.

But he is also an extremely knowledgeable shooter and a founding member of the Shootists and things pertaining to firearms.

I got turned on to Jim's writing back when JT''s (hey! John Taffin and Jim Taylor have the same initials) old Sixgunner board got started around '98. Very interesting and captivating ......learned a lot too....his dad was also very proficient of "making do" with what was available and came up,with quite a few inventions.----006
