Ready for Saturday !

Post by 6pt-sika »

Regular archery season starts this Saturday . Took me about half an hour but I’m prepared crossbow wise ! Checked it from last year at 20 and 40 yards . Right where it was when I put it away both with field points and with Muzzy’s .

Friend of mine just got a vertical crossbow. It's made in Arkansas I believe. It has a compound riser section but mounted upindicular, trigger system allow it to be let down, also a full capture safety system, adjustable LOP, scope & quiver included. I haven't shot it but visual inspection it's well made and he says it's very accurate. Being all aluminum it's quite light but I bet it's going to be brutal to hold onto during late season cold!

I didn’t make it out this morning I just couldn’t get out the bed ! Did however get all the leaves cleaned off the yard (and now about four hours later they were replaced by more) , also got the vacume cleaner over all the floors and rugs in the house . So the AM wasn’t a waste .

I’ve got another I got from Sportsman’s Guide that has a drop down bug net . I was wearing it Monday night . Monday night I also fell asleep for about thirty minutes , woke up and had three deer looking at me . Bear in mind I was about 25-30 feet up in a tree . I had a leg cramp and moved slightly , they blew and away they went .
