Yes I lived in Trinidad for 3 years, the saying if ya don't like the weather- wait 15 minutes rings so true !
I can't remember the name of the lake but I do remember it was June 21st and we were fishing in a snow storm that day! About 9,000 feet. Actually decided to beat feet before the 2 track got snowed in.

Yes, a nice time to hunt. Elk season must b open now or soon in SE Colorado.

I was up near Meeker Peak NE of Allenspark today 9500 - 10000 ft and the aspen were starting to show color.

Steve, next Wednesday we are looking for our first day cooler than 90 degrees since June 10 here in Alamogordo -- an icy 82. We had the merest shadow of a monsoon this summer, darn it.

Brrrr! I hate winter! Think I'll go to New Zealand for their Summer this year! Maybe, if they're letting tourists back!

Well, we may go from 99 Sunday to 66 Wednesday here, a very nice cool down.
