You are right Steve, only 80 out today so i took out 5 guns & ran a bunch of rounds through
the chrony, these were loads already tested for groups so i was curious on velocity
250 savage in Ruger RSI
2 30-30 in 94
1 44-40 94 Marlin
1 45 colt & 454 casull Ruger Alaskan
5 shots in each load & at least 2 loads for each gun, took awhile but was a lot of fun!

I see it as a means to and end. I'm not a great experimenter. I find a load that does well for a firearm and tend to stick with it. Sometimes they even work well in more than one. I'd rather spend time shooting than experimenting. The advent of reliable progressive loaders were a blessing to me.
