Why is it so easy to believe God hears us when we cuss but we have a hard time believing He hears us when we pray?

I figure he hears or see's all my indiscretions so I never much thought that way .

I try to remember that I am never alone (and I know that I never have been) and sort of keep up a running conversation going. Not all the time of course, but if we all thought that God was right there with us, we would likely be more polite to each other.

After going toward the light a year ago and hearing a voice tell me it was not yet time, I cannot believe that we are ever alone. We are heard, maybe we do not listen to the answer, but we are heard.

Good thought!
It is also good to think on these:
1. We are loved. Totally, completely and without reservation.
2. We have never been separated from Him. He has always been with us, whether we understood that or not. (this is basically what you said, "we are never alone.")
